This weeks stills were all taken during my recent visit to Germany.
My old home town of Lemgo is an old merchant town, strategically important to trading goods for more than 800 Years.
The architecture is typical for old Hanseatic trading towns of the time,
with large town houses which formerly would have been the head quarters of rich merchant families.
Build in the style known as the Weser Renaissance, they often feature colourful ornate wooden carvings,
still beautiful today.
