How are you all my lovely ‘homely blanket’ questers?, have you missed me just a teeny weeny little bit?, and have you all caught up with your ‘homely’ square making during my two week break? In case you are still a little behind, I am easing myself in with a fairly simple square this week…
6ch, ss to form a ring.
Rnd 1: 3ch, 15tr into ring, ss to join.
Rnd 2: 3ch, 1tr in each of next 2sts, *5ch, skip 1st**, 1tr in each of next 3sts; rep. from * around, ending at **, ss to join.
Change colour.
Rnd 3: 3ch, 1tr in each of next 2sts, *2ch, [1tr, 5ch, 1tr] in 5ch sp, 2ch**, 1tr in each of next 3sts; rep. from * around, ending at **, ss to join.
Change to first colour.
Rnd 4: 3ch, 1tr in each of next 2sts, *2ch, 1tr in 2chsp, 2ch, [1tr, 3ch, 1tr] in corner, 2ch, 1tr in next 2ch sp, 2ch**, 1tr in each of next 3sts; rep. from * around, ending at **, ss to join.
Rnd 5: 3ch, 1tr in each of next 2sts, *(1tr, 2ch in next 2ch sp) x 2, [1tr, 3ch, 1tr] in corner, (2ch, 1tr in next 2ch sp) x 2**, 1tr in each of next 3sts; rep. from * around, ending at **, ss to join.
Change to second colour.
Rnd 6: 1ch, 1dc in same sp, 1dc in each of next 2sts, *(2dc in next 2ch sp, 1ch) x 2, 3dc in corner, (1ch, 2dc in next 2ch sp) x 2**, 1dc in each of next 5sts; rep. from * around, ending at **, ss to join.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
