february

I can’t quite believe it…January is over already, where did it go? It came and went so quickly that I only managed a couple of posts; so much for my aim to post once a week! Oh well, it can only get better from here, keep your fingers crossed čÖé One good thing though, I managed to finish a few Wip’s and just as soon as the light is better I will take photos to share.

Right now we are in the depth of Winter here in North Wales and everything is covered in a pretty white blanket of snow with temperatures well below freezing, even during the day.

I love this weather! Perfect if you work from home – heating or fire on, lovely cup of tea by your side, working on something new that makes your heart sing.

Something like this shawl! This will be my next pattern release, crochet this time. Big and soft, it is the perfect thing to make ready to wear in spring. I’ll have it finished and tested in the next couple of weeks, so watch out for it here, on Ravelry and on Instagram.

The other exciting news is that I will be appearing in a brand new book full of gorgeous patterns showcasing creative designers who are well known on Instagram.

This is a German publication and I am so thrilled to feature in the midst of this group of talented designers. Being published in my mother tongue makes it already one of the highlights of 2019 and working with this Publisher has been a total joy.

the featured designers and their Instagram names

The book will be published in mid-February which is when I can reveal my contributory featured design. There will be give-away’s by everyone featured and these will be announced via Instagram. We will give away free copies of the book and also some super gorgeous yarn to make a design from the book. Keep your eyes peeled!

I am off to feed the birds and then it’s time to settle down with some lovely knitting. I wonder if I can get this one to join me outside? I think he is way to cosy where he is!

Max in his favourite place

Stay safe and warm wherever you are! xo.
