The countdown to the first knitting retreat organised by WoolyLoops has begun!

After many months and weeks of organising, admin tasks, putting informational talks together, designing the project and knitting samples, we were left with a lot of ends to sew in and subsequently snip off.

Claudia and I have been working tirelessly to make sure everything is just the way we would want if we were the guests, and in two days we will welcome 10 eager ladies at the airport in Manchester. After a short journey they will be welcomed by Seamus and his team at the Chainbridge Hotel in Llangollen and a week full of colourful fun can begin.

I will be writing a retreat diary and my aim is to post a few words and lots of photos here every evening. It would be lovely to have your company during this very exciting week we have all been looking forward to.

Let the fun begin!

Thank you for your answer Heike 🙂 I will certainly watch. I keep looking at the Isager yarns so often, and I absolutely want to restart knitting; So it would make a great combo. (and my husband speaks German, so he would be happy if I would try to learn it a bit too 🙂 ) Have a wonderfull retrait-time !

  • Hi Annelies,
this one is in German only because everyone is German but they would be in both if we had people with both languages. Also all you Dutch and us German’s are good at languages, so no problem. If this one is successful, we will organise again for next year…watch this space! 🙂
